Coaching Process

Just  4 simple steps

1.

Book a Consultation

During the initial consultation, which we can do in person or over Zoom videoconference, we will discuss your current financial situation and what your short-term and long-term goals are.

This is a complimentary, no-obligation service that I offer to anyone who is eager to make a change in their financial situation.

At the end of the consultation if we decide we make a good fit, we can discuss the coaching process and what that might look like for you. I evaluate your situation and offer you some insight and hope to reach your goals. If you are married, I do recommend both spouses be present for the meetings.

2.

Discovery and Information Gathering

If we decide to work together, I will send you a Personal Financial Snapshot form to complete and you can provide me with your financial data and set up payment information. I will analyze the form and email you if I have any further questions.

Once all my questions been answered, we can schedule your first coaching appointment. I provide a judge-free zone and all information is confidential.

3.

First Coaching Session

We will be creating personalized short and long-term goals based on what you hope to accomplish during our time working together.

Then we will review your budget. If you are not currently budgeting, we will create a budget together.

At the end of the meeting, we will agree on “homework” for you to complete before our next meeting.  You can schedule by using my calendar link.

After our meeting, I will follow up with you to provide any additional information we may have discussed during our meeting, and, likewise, you will update me on your progress.

4.

Bi-Monthly Coaching Sessions

Sessions are scheduled for twice a month with the purpose of establishing and evaluating goals and objectives, formulating, reviewing your budget, addressing any challenges that might arise during the interim period, examining expenditures in comparison to the budgeted amounts, and offering education and resources tailored to subjects you’re eager to delve deeper into.

Frequently Asked Questions

We provide high quality and cost effective coaching and
money management services.

What is a financial coach and why would I need one?

A financial coach is a person who is trained (and trusted) to help you improve your relationship with money and stay on track to meet your financial goals.  As a coach, I can help you become more aware of your money habits which can lead to changes in your behavior with money.  I do not judge, criticize or money shame you.  Think of me as a personal trainer for your money.  You will do the work and I will hold you accountable to the goals you set, encourage you when you feel like giving up and celebrate wins along  the way!

What can you do for me?

I can help you with your budget, pay off debt, establish an emergency fund, pay for college, save for or pay off your house and save for retirement.  The goals set are personalized for your specific situation.  My job is to understand your situation, provide information and inject hope.

What are your qualifications?

I am trained through Dave Ramsey’s program which is Ramsey Solutions Financial Coach Master Training.  I have the heart of a teacher and will look at your entire situation to come up with a step-by-step plan.  I have been where you are and have made my share of money mistakes.  I share the same philosophies that Dave Ramsey teaches.  I have taught Financial Peace University (FPU).  I have worked through the “Baby Steps” myself (and with my husband), have a paid off mortgage and am investing regularly for retirement.

In addition I have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University.  I have been a Registered Pharmacist for 28 years.

Where do you conduct the coaching sessions?

I can conduct the sessions in-person (if distance allows) or remotely over Zoom.  I am located in Fort Myers, Fl but I have worked with clients all over the United States.  Being able to see each other face-to-face allows us to communicate more effectively.  I do not offer coaching sessions over the phone.
